The Drone Operator is the most rewarding class in the game once it clicks. Some basics:
Fly high and wide, not straight at the objective. Spot, then move before anyone can shoot the drone down. Save the EMP for when your squad is actually pushing, not the moment you see an enemy.
Most important of all: your body is defenseless while you fly. Park it behind your Breacher.
